Gary has spent over 22 years in financial services, including senior roles at some of the UK's largest institutions, before dedicating the last 15 years exclusively to independent financial advice. That breadth of experience matters — it means he understands how financial products and strategies work from the inside, not just in theory.
As an IFA, Gary works with private individuals and business owners to bring genuine clarity to their financial lives. His approach is personal and thorough: understanding what you want your money to do, identifying the most efficient route to get there, and building a plan that evolves alongside you.
His areas of expertise span investments, pensions and retirement planning, protection, and estate planning — with a particular focus on tax efficiency at every stage.
Outside of work, Gary is happiest outdoors — hiking and camping whenever the opportunity arises.

Peter has been working in financial services since 1999, building his career across some of the world's leading institutions, including HSBC and Zurich. That international, blue-chip background gives him a depth of perspective that genuinely sets him apart.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Financial Planner — qualifications that place him among the most highly credentialled advisers in the profession, and which reflect a long-standing commitment to technical excellence.
But Peter's approach is about more than technical knowledge. He believes that great financial planning starts with understanding the life you want — and works backwards from there. Using sophisticated lifestyle planning tools, he helps clients build a clear, confident picture of their financial future and what it takes to get there.

Fiona brings over four decades of financial services experience to her role at Active Financial Advice — a career that has spanned both the insurance and independent advice sectors since 1981. That depth of knowledge, built through industry qualifications and years of hands-on practice, means that very little crosses her desk that she hasn't seen before.
Behind the scenes, Fiona is the person who keeps everything running smoothly. She is the first point of contact for many of our clients, and the care she takes in building and maintaining those relationships is something our clients notice and value.
Outside of work, Fiona is an avid reader, enjoys swimming, and has a passion for crafting.
